It’s back to school for Monocle and the new term is going to be busy. Monocle’s headmaster, Tyler Brûlé, reveals the new curriculum.

There were some unusual sounds to be heard from the editorial floor of Midori House over the weekend - the odd pig oink and sheep bleat.

One day last week a cake was delivered to Midori House: perfectly moist, indulgently rich and lovingly iced.

We had the previously teen-pop, Mmm-Bopping Tulsa nice guys Hanson playing a Midori House session for us yesterday and so of course the trio immediately reminded me of Dominique Strauss-Kahn
Wednesday 27 June
Our beloved Midori House was rudely, crudely invaded yesterday - a health and safety SWAT team tore through all five floors of the building and plastered almost every surface with fire safety signs.
