Format
We kick off with a welcome evening cocktail on Wednesday 27 March, hosted by the Monocle team. Thursday will include a full day of long-form interviews, panel discussions and Q&As and a networking lunch followed by dinner that evening.
Previous editions
The inaugural edition of The Chiefs took place in the Swiss mountain retreat of Suvretta House, St Moritz in September 2020. Speakers included Vitra’s CEO, Nora Fehlbaum; the mayor of Athens, Kostas Bakoyannis; and Peter Maurer, former president of the International Committee of the Red Cross. In November 2022, Monocle hosted its first US conference in Dallas, Texas. Speakers included Miller Knoll VP Ryan Anderson; US ambassador to Switzerland, Jacques Pitteloud; renowned Mexican chef Elena Reygadas; and Semafor co-founder and CEO (and ex-CEO of Bloomberg Media Group), Justin B Smith.
