- Extremadura Food Festival
Located in the well-heeled enclave of Dalston’s De Beauvoir town is the Towpath Café. Founded by food writer Lori de Mori and her husband Jason Lowe, this weekend the duo play host to a celebration of foods from the Extremadura region of western Spain. Hosted by food writer and Extremadura resident Paul Richardson, events include tastings of Extremeño oils, acorn fed Ibérico hams, cheeses and wines, which will also be available to buy.

- Scotch & Soda Amsterdam Blauw
Scotch & Soda has opened its first Amsterdams Blauw denim-only store in the Jordaan neighbourhood of the Dutch capital. Named after the colour of centuries-old Dutch porcelain, historic inspiration is offset by contemporary Japanese and American styling. A “denim-deli” layout offering jeans, jackets, shirts and even jumpsuits makes picking up a piece easy.

Based on the bestselling novel by Shuichi Yoshida, Villain is a critically acclaimed hit. The story follows Yuichi and Mitsuyo who fall in love after meeting on an online dating site. 04 Exhibition: San Francisco
- Passage: Capturing Movement
Motion is happening all around us, so 60SIX gallery in downtown San Francisco is turning to a diverse range of photographers to pin down the feeling of movement. Stephen Mallon documents colossal industrial objects being born or meeting a poignant end. While Anne Terpstra’s blurred images capture just a fleeting moment. Also on display are David King, Steve Bird, David Magnusson and Michael Jang.

The space is large (800 sq ft), replete with an extensive range of menswear and shoes (for both men and women) and with just enough room for the pending release of its womenswear range in 2012.
