Description
The Monocle Media Summit is back. Join our editors and producers for a look at the brands, correspondents and titles that are shaping the media landscape and steering its future. This year the event also marks Monocle 24’s 10th birthday so we are putting a special focus on broadcast media, the power of the newsroom in turbulent times and the role of the anchor in informing and entertaining the global public.
A packed afternoon of panels will once again be hosted by Monocle’s founder Tyler Brûlé and editor in chief Andrew Tuck along with a selection of their Monocle colleagues from print and radio, and will include insights from a stellar line-up of industry leaders.
As well as some very special musical guests, there will also be a chance to meet and talk shop with the speakers and delegates at a cocktail reception following the summit.
On the agenda for this year’s edition:
- the enduring importance of foreign correspondents
- the future of the newsroom
- why newsstands are set for a revival
- what it takes to design a media HQ
- secrets to successful storytelling in a multi-platform world
