01 Hartô – Anatole side table

Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot have designed French firm Hartô’s shapely new side table. Its curved metal legs and wooden trays are also available in the shorter and wider Eugénie table.

02 Nyta – Tilt wall lamp

The German lighting brand’s already popular pendant debuts in a polished wall version. Made from solid brass, its shiny spun lampshade is adjustable and swivels to cast its glow in various directions.

03 Eleanor Pritchard – Cebl upholstered furniture

This collaboration unites the steel chairs, armchairs and stools of north London manufacturer Hitch Mylius with south London textile designer Eleanor Pritchard’s growing range of upholstery.

04 Kaymet – Pressed rubber grip tray

London-based Kaymet has made these hardy trays since the 1960s but never stopped improving their distinctive design. Available in seven sizes (and three colours) the capacious aluminium trays can cater for any occasion.

05 Hay – Palissade outdoor furniture

Prolific French design duo the Bouroullec brothers have designed this eye-catching outdoor furniture range for Danish manufacturer Hay. Its 13 lightweight steel elements such as chairs, tables and benches are available in three colours but we’re sold on its outdoorsy green offering.

06 Architectmade – High tea with Finn Juhl

Danish architectural legend Finn Juhl first designed this china tea set in 1952 but its complex, rounded shapes made manufacturing the pieces troublesome. With the help of Marianne Carstensen, a former worker at Juhl’s studio, Architectmade has finally cracked the formula and the teapots, cups, saucers and bowls will be available later this year.

07 Andrée Sorant – Movies scarves

As a salute to the inclusion of fashion at this year’s Maison & Objet, we’ve included the scarves by French accessory label Andrée Sorant. Woven in Lyon and Como, the silk and wool creations feature bright geometric patterns and film-inspired scenes.

08 Artek – Outline stationery

The abstract designs on Artek’s latest stationery range come from brand founder Alvar Aalto’s iconic products. Finnish graphic design studio TSTO updated the designs in a blue, grey, black and beige palette to create these notable jotters, memo blocks, postcards and posters.

09 Valerie Objects – Hanging lamp No 1–5

Co-founded by Axel Van den Bossche, Frank Lambert and Veerle Wenes, curator and owner of Antwerp’s Valerie Traan Gallery, Valerie Objects made a bright first impression this year. These lithe, minimal lamps come courtesy of artist duo Muller van Severen.

10 Normann Copenhagen – Tales of Wood office bin

Master cabinet-maker Ben G Nielsen first designed this office bin in 1984 but it was his son Jan who turned his drawings into reality. Available in oak or walnut, this simple basket shows elegance can be found in the humblest office accessory.

11 Pulpo – Fumi lamp

After designing his Simple Light for Pulpo, London-based designer Harry Thaler returned to the German label with another bright idea. Fumi’s lines are as uncomplicated as its predecessor’s, but its sand-glazed ceramic diffuser and body give this piece a dainty look too.

12 Skultuna – The Factory

This intricate tea light is a representation of the Swedish brand’s old foundry in the town of Skultuna. Founded in the 17th century, the present factory was rebuilt after a devastating fire destroyed it in the late 19th century. This etched brass version is a beautiful testament to the tale.
